Lt. Col. Rt. Ralph A. Harju and Virginia Harju, R.N. celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8 at the Palestine Senior Activity Center. The couple was married Dec. 8, 1944. The couple have four children and five grandchildren. He was a fighter pilot in Germany and Korea and retired after 21 years. She was a flight nurse in the South Pacific.
